How to Cancel Spendesk

To cancel a Spendesk account or product, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Spendesk Support: Reach out to your direct account manager or email customer@spendesk.com to initiate the cancellation process. Specify the exact account or entity you wish to close.

  2. Ensure No Pending Transactions: Spendesk will verify that there are no pending transactions or funds remaining on your physical or virtual cards. If there are, you will need to wait until they are fully processed.

  3. Redemption Form: You will receive a redemption form to fill out, sign, and return. This form is necessary for processing any remaining balance reimbursement.

  4. Account Closure: Once your account is empty and the form is processed, Spendesk will proceed with closing your account. This typically takes 3-5 business days, but may include a notice period.

For subscription cards, you can pause or delete them directly within the Spendesk platform:

  • Pause Subscription: Go to the "Subscriptions" tab, select the card, and click "Pause card."
  • Delete Subscription: Go to the "Subscriptions" tab, select the card, click "Details," and then "Cancel subscription." Note that deleting a subscription card is irreversible.
