How to Cancel Disk Drill

To cancel your Disk Drill product, follow these steps:

Uninstallation

  1. For Mac Users:

    • Open Disk Drill from your Dock or Launchpad.
    • Go to the top menu bar, click on Disk Drill > Preferences > General.
    • Click the Remove Disk Drill button.
    • Confirm removal by clicking Confirm removal. If prompted, choose to clear the data protection folder if you had enabled data protection.

    Alternatively, if you cannot access preferences:

    • Download the Disk Drill installer again.
    • Open Terminal and execute the command: sudo /Volumes/DiskDrill/Disk Drill.app/Contents/Resources/uninstall
  2. For Windows Users:

    • Go to the Start menu and locate CleverFiles Disk Drill (x64).
    • Right-click on it and select Uninstall.
    • Follow the uninstallation wizard to complete the removal.

License Cancellation

After uninstalling, if you want to reset your activations or cancel your license, visit the CleverFiles Activation and Licensing Center. You may need to contact their support for assistance with license-related issues.

Additional Steps

  • Ensure all associated files are removed from your system.
  • If using a third-party uninstaller like MacKeeper’s Smart Uninstaller, follow its instructions to remove any remaining components.
