How to Cancel SendCloud

To cancel a SendCloud label, follow these steps:

  1. Cancel via SendCloud Panel:

    • Go to your Created Labels overview.
    • Select the shipment(s) you want to cancel.
    • Choose "Cancel" from the dropdown menu next to "Print label."
    • Confirm the cancellation. The label will be moved to the "Cancelled labels" tab.
  2. Cancel via API:

    • Use the Cancel/Delete a parcel endpoint.
    • Make a POST request to the endpoint, specifying the parcel ID as a path parameter.
    • Example: https://panel.sendcloud.sc/api/v2/parcels/{parcel_id}/cancel
  3. Cancellation Deadlines and Fees:

    • Cancel before 23:59 on the day of creation to avoid charges.
    • If missed, you can still cancel within 42 days for a refund on your next invoice.
    • Some carriers have specific cancellation deadlines and requirements.
  4. Handling Unsuccessful Cancellations:

    • If a carrier does not allow cancellation, delete the label in SendCloud to prevent it from reappearing in Created labels.
    • For carriers like UPS, cancellation might not be possible once the label is created, especially for international shipments.
