How to Cancel Eventbrite

To cancel an Eventbrite ticket or event, follow these steps:

Canceling a Ticket as an Attendee

1. Log in to your Eventbrite account via a computer or mobile browser.
2. Click on the profile icon in the top right corner and select Tickets from the dropdown menu.
3. Find the event you wish to cancel and click on it.
4. Look for the Cancel order or Request a refund option, which may be under Order details depending on the event settings.
5. Click on the Cancel order button and confirm your cancellation.
6. You may be asked to provide additional information; fill it in and submit your request.

Canceling an Event as an Organizer

1. Log in to your Eventbrite account.
2. Go to Manage my Events and select the event you want to cancel.
3. If tickets are still on sale, set the event status to Cancelled to stop further sales.
4. Email your attendees using Eventbrite’s platform to inform them about the cancellation and refund process.
5. Issue refunds promptly and communicate clearly about the refund timeline.
