How to Cancel Google Cloud BigQuery

To cancel a Google Cloud BigQuery product, follow these steps:

1. Cancel Jobs: If you have active jobs running in BigQuery, you can cancel them using the BigQuery client libraries. For example, in Python, you can use the cancel_job method of the BigQuery client to cancel a job by its ID.

2. Terminate Sessions: If you have active sessions, you can terminate them manually or automatically. To do this manually, go to the BigQuery page in the Google Cloud console, find the editor tab containing your session, and close it. Alternatively, you can use the SQL statement CALL BQ.ABORT_SESSION() to terminate a session.

3. Cancel Subscriptions: To cancel your Google Cloud subscription, including any BigQuery-related services, follow these steps:

   • Log in to your Google Cloud account.
   • Navigate to the Billing tab and select Account Management.
   • Look for the Close account option, which may appear as a tab or a blue X button.
   • Confirm by typing "Close" when prompted.
   • After closing the account, ensure no active subscriptions remain by checking your Google account’s payment and subscriptions page.

4. Remove Payment Methods: If you want to remove your credit card details, go to the Google Payment Center, open the settings tab, and click on "Close payment profile" to remove your card details from all Google services.
