How to cancel HealthSherpa for Agents

To cancel a plan using HealthSherpa for Agents, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your HealthSherpa dashboard and navigate to the client’s details page.
  2. Access the Marketplace: Click on "Access Marketplace" in the top right corner of your dashboard.
  3. Select the State: Choose the state where the client is located and proceed to search at Healthcare.gov.
  4. Log into Healthcare.gov: Use your FFM credentials to log in.
  5. Find the Client’s Application: Search for the client’s application within Healthcare.gov.
  6. Terminate Enrollment: In the client’s application, go to "My Plans & Programs" and click on the red box that says "Terminate this Enrollment."
  7. Remove from HealthSherpa Dashboard (Optional): After termination, you can also remove the client from your HealthSherpa dashboard by going to the "Actions" section for that client and clicking "Archive."

Alternatively, you can call Healthcare.gov directly to request assistance with terminating a plan. Ensure you have the client’s FFM application ID ready if they wish to handle this independently.
