How to Cancel Parallels Desktop for Mac

To cancel your Parallels Desktop for Mac subscription, follow these steps:

1. Cancel Subscription via App Store:

   • Open the App Store app.
   • Click the sign-in button or your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
   • Click Account Settings at the top of the window. You might be asked to sign in.
   • Scroll down to Subscriptions and click Manage.
   • Click Edit next to the Parallels Desktop subscription.
   • Click Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see this option, the subscription is already canceled and won’t renew.

2. Deactivate License:

   • If you need to deactivate the license on a computer, you can do so by executing the command prlsrvctl update-license in Terminal. Alternatively, you can use the Parallels Desktop management interface to select the computer and choose Deactivate from the Actions menu.

3. Uninstall Parallels Desktop:

   • To remove Parallels Desktop from your Mac, open the Applications folder and drag the Parallels Desktop application to the Trash.

After completing these steps, your subscription will be canceled, the license will be deactivated, and the software will be uninstalled from your Mac.
