Manually Enrolled Devices

  • For iOS devices:

    • Open the Settings app on the device.

Devices Enrolled Using Automated Enrollment with Apple Business/School Manager

  • In Apple Business Manager, un-assign the device from SimpleMDM or release the device from your Apple Business Manager account.
  • Delete the device record from SimpleMDM.
  • If necessary, erase the device to fully remove the MDM profile.

Additional Steps for Supervised Mode

If the device has Supervised Mode enabled, you will need to erase the device even after removing it from MDM to disable Supervised Mode.

Finalizing the Process

After unenrolling all devices and canceling your subscription, ensure that all MDM-installed apps and configurations are removed from the devices. If your account closes, all devices will be automatically unenrolled within 30 days, and all apps and configurations will be removed.
