Pricing and Features

Tebra’s pricing structure is as follows:

For the self-managed billing and EHR services, Tebra charges on a per provider per month basis. Here are some key points:

  • Electronic Claims and Transactions: For Low-Volume subscription plans, customers are charged $0.99 per electronic claim, per provider, per month after the first 50 claims. Billing transactions include electronic claims, eligibility checks, and requests/claims submitted within an electronic remittance advice (ERA).
  • Subscription Fees: Fees are determined by the software subscription level (Billing, Clinical, or Patient Experience) and specific provider characteristics. Providers activated within multiple practices within a single Tebra account are charged one subscription fee at the highest applicable subscription level.
  • Fee Changes: Tebra reserves the right to increase prices by no more than 4.9% at any one time, no more frequently than once per 12-month period, upon 30 days’ notice to the customer. For month-to-month agreements, all fees may be changed with 60 days’ notice.
  • Additional Fees: There are additional fees for mailings like paper insurance claims or paper patient statements, which can be increased to reflect changes in USPS postage or processing costs. There may also be one-time implementation and setup fees, annual fees per authorized user, and a one-time application fee for e-prescribing controlled substances.
  • Outsourced Billing: If billing is outsourced, pricing depends on the billing partner chosen and is typically a percentage of the monthly collections. Factors influencing the rate include practice specialty, claim volume, and billing complexity.

Currently, specific numerical pricing details are not provided publicly, as Tebra prefers to work with each client individually to tailor a solution to their needs and budget.
