How to Cancel Uphold

To cancel or close an Uphold account, follow these steps:

1. Open the Uphold app and navigate to the home screen.
2. Tap on the "More" button located at the bottom right corner of the screen. It is represented by three dots.
3. Select the "Settings" option, which appears as a green gear icon.
4. From the settings menu, go to the "Profile" section.
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the profile page and click on "Close Account."
6. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to close your account. Uphold may remind you that there is no deposit limit and that reopening an account can take some time.
7. Before proceeding with the closure, ensure that you have withdrawn all funds from your Uphold account. If you have any open positions in cryptocurrencies, you will need to sell them and wait for the funds to settle in your balance.
8. Once your account balance is zero, you can continue with the account closure process.
9. Confirm your decision to close the account by clicking on the "Continue with Account Closure" button.
