How to Cancel Visio

To cancel your Microsoft Visio subscription, follow these steps:

Using the Microsoft 365 Admin Center

If you are an administrator or have access to the admin center, you can cancel the subscription as follows:

  • Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
  • Navigate to Billing > Your products.
  • Select the Products tab.
  • Find the Visio subscription you want to cancel.
  • Click on the More actions (three dots) next to the subscription.
  • Select Cancel subscription.
  • In the Cancel subscription pane, choose a reason for canceling and select Save.

Using Your Microsoft Account

If you are a personal user, you can cancel your subscription through your Microsoft account:

  • Sign in to the Microsoft account management page using the Microsoft account associated with your Visio subscription.
  • Under your Visio subscription, look for the Expires on date or a Cancel link.
  • If you see a Cancel link, select it. You might be given the option to get a refund for unused time. If you choose to get a refund, the subscription will go into reduced functionality mode immediately. Otherwise, you’ll have access to your subscription until it expires.
  • If you don’t see a Cancel option, it may be because automatic renewal is turned off. In this case, your subscription will end on the specified Expires on date, and no further payments will be made.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues while trying to cancel your subscription, such as an error message saying "There was an issue submitting your request," try contacting Microsoft support for assistance. You can also periodically check the conversation in the Microsoft Community forums for any updates or additional help.
