Filestash

How to Use:

• Requirements: Ensure you have a Linux server with docker, docker-compose, and curl installed. Minimal hardware requirements include 128MB of RAM and 1 core.
• Installation:
  • Create a directory for Filestash: mkdir filestash && cd filestash.
  • Download the latest docker-compose file: curl -O https://downloads.filestash.app/latest/docker-compose.yml.
  • Start Filestash using Docker Compose: docker-compose up -d.
• After installation, access the Filestash admin panel by navigating to http://your_domain:8334 in your web browser.

• Upon accessing the admin panel, configure your admin password.
• Choose which storage backends you want to enable for your users, such as FTP, S3, or others.
• Utilize storage plugins to provide unified access to different storage options, making it easier for users to interact with storage services like Filezilla or Cyberduck.
• Optionally, configure authentication middleware plugins to simplify user authentication, such as using the passthrough option for FTP clients or setting up user-specific access using plugins like htpasswd.

• Filestash offers a wide range of plugins to enhance functionality, including storage plugins for FTP, SFTP, S3, and more.
• Authentication middleware plugins streamline user authentication and access control.
• Gain fine-grained authorization control with plugins implementing the IAuthorization interface.

• To upgrade Filestash, simply download the latest version of the docker-compose file using the provided URL and restart Filestash using Docker Compose.
• Alternatively, follow any specific upgrade instructions provided by the Filestash team.
