How to Cancel Charity Auctions Today

To cancel or manage various aspects of an auction on CharityAuctionsToday, you need to follow these steps:

Canceling or Removing a Bid

  • If you are a bidder and need to remove a bid, you must contact the Auction Organizer. From the item page, click the “Question” Icon and select “Contact Auction Organizer” to request the bid removal.
  • For Auction Admins, if a bid was placed by accident, you can retract it. Here’s how:
    • From the “Reports” Page, go to “All Bids”.
    • Search for the item or bidder’s name and click the “Remove Bid” button.
    • Alternatively, from the Auction Dashboard, open the bid history for the item:
      • Click “Auctions” > “Manage Auctions”.
      • Click on the name of your auction.
      • Click on “Items” > “All Items”.
      • Click on the Blue Number “Bids”.
      • Click the Red X to remove the bid.

Issuing a Refund

  • Refunds are managed from the “All Transactions” page.
  • In the “Operations” column, click on the Eye Icon.
  • Click on the “Refund” button in the top right corner.
  • Choose between a full refund or a partial refund. For a partial refund, enter the amount you would like refunded. Note that these steps do not apply if you are using PayPal as your payment processor; refunds must be done directly through PayPal.

Requesting a Payout

  • Once your auction is done, ensure all invoices are paid.
  • Select the name of your auction under “Manage Events”.
  • Go to “Invoices” > “Submit Withdrawal Request”.
  • It will take 12-14 business days for the payout to be approved. After approval, the funds will be reflected in your bank account within 24-48 hours.
