How to Cancel Jobtrain

To cancel your Jobscan or Jobtrain subscription, here are the detailed instructions for each service, as they are distinct products with different cancellation processes.

Jobscan Cancellation Instructions

Cancellation During Trial Period

• If you are within your trial period, you can cancel your Jobscan Premium Membership to avoid being charged the membership fee.
• To do this, follow the "Cancel Membership" instructions within your Account page.
• You can cancel at any point within your trial period for any reason and incur no cost.

Cancellation After Trial Period

• For non-trial period memberships, follow the "Cancel Membership" instructions within your Account page.
• Upon cancellation, your account will be downgraded to a Free Membership after your current billing period ends.
• Note that cancellation does not automatically issue refunds.

Refund Policy

• Refunds will only be granted to Jobscan Premium members who request a refund within 2 calendar days of the billing period start and have not used the service within that billing period.
• A fee of 3.5% of the original payment made will be charged.
• To process a refund, email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the reason for the refund and your Jobscan email.

Jobtrain Cancellation Instructions

Jobtrain does not provide a direct cancellation process for its services in the same way as Jobscan, as it is primarily an onboarding and candidate management system rather than a subscription-based service. However, here are some relevant steps related to managing candidates and onboarding processes:

Removing Candidates from Onboarding

• If a candidate has withdrawn their application but is still in the onboarding process, you can remove them from the New Starters tile.
• To do this, select the candidate and click the "Remove Onboarding & References" button on the New Starters page. This action will remove the candidate from the onboarding process without triggering the onboarding complete email. Note that this will also remove all references and onboarding documents for the selected candidate.

Cancelling Interviews

• To cancel a candidate interview, go to the candidate record or candidate listing page.
• Follow the steps to cancel the interview, which will send a standard cancellation email to both the candidate and the interviewer, remove the date/time from the candidate list/record, and update the candidate history.
