How to Cancel PrimePay

To cancel your PrimePay subscription, you need to follow these steps carefully, as the process involves several key considerations:

Notification and Timing

PrimePay requires a 30-day written notice to terminate your subscription. If you are within the initial 12-month minimum term for certain products like myHRcounsel Products, you must complete this term before you can terminate without incurring an Early Termination Fee.

Steps to Cancel

  • Submit a Termination Request: Notify PrimePay in writing of your intention to terminate the subscription. This notice must be provided at least 30 days prior to the desired termination date.
  • Check for Minimum Term Commitments: If you have purchased myHRcounsel Products or other bundled services, ensure you have completed the 12-month minimum term to avoid Early Termination Fees.
  • Settle Outstanding Fees: Make sure all fees are paid up to date. If your account is past due, you must bring it current to regain access to your data and the products.
  • Early Termination Fees: If you terminate before the end of the term or without completing the minimum term commitment, you will be required to pay the Early Termination Fee, which equals the remaining unpaid portion of the fees for the remainder of your term.

Post-Cancellation

  • Data Access and Retrieval: After termination, PrimePay will permanently delete your customer data within 30 days, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. If you are fully paid up, you can download reports containing your customer data or request a copy of your data in a .csv file, subject to additional fees and a separate Service Order (SOW).

Additional Considerations

  • Third-Party Products: If you have subscribed to third-party products like myHRcounsel, you must also comply with their terms and conditions, as PrimePay is not a party to these agreements.
