To cancel your Appen account, follow these steps:

Requesting Account Deactivation

1. Access the Data Request Portal:

   • Go to the data request portal to initiate the account deactivation process.

2. Fill Out the Request Form:

   • Under the "Type of Request" section, select “Delete my information.”
   • Fill out the necessary details to complete the request.

• You can also access this portal by visiting the Appen homepage at appen.com, scrolling to the bottom of the page, and clicking on “Manage My Data.”

Confirmation and Deletion

• Once you submit your request, your account should be deleted within 15 business days.
• If your account is not deleted within this timeframe, you should send in a ticket for further assistance.

Additional Considerations

• Before your account is completely deleted, you will be asked if you want to contribute your data to research statistics. If you choose to contribute, your answers will be saved anonymously, and they will no longer be linked to your account or person.
• If you choose to delete everything, all your answers and other data will be removed and cannot be recovered. People or businesses you shared your answers with will no longer be able to see anything from your closed account.
