How to Cancel getaffiliated
To cancel your GetResponse account, follow these steps:
Logging In and Navigating to Billing
- Log in to your GetResponse account using your credentials.
Accessing the Billing Section
- Navigate to the
Profile
section.
- From there, go to
Billing
.
Initiating the Cancellation Process
- Scroll down to the
Cancel subscription
link and click on it.
Reviewing Account Details
- You will be presented with a summary of your account, including the number of contacts, newsletters, drafts, and autoresponders you will lose upon cancellation.
- Click on the
Proceed to the next step
link to continue.
Providing Feedback
- On the next page, you will see a cancellation warning. Check the box and provide feedback on why you are canceling your account.
- Click the
Proceed to the next step
button after providing your feedback.
Choosing Cancellation Options
- You will be offered several options:
- For monthly payments: Use GetResponse for 1 month free of charge, downgrade to a lower plan, or freeze your account for 60 days.
- For annual/biennial payments: Use GetResponse for 2 months free of charge or downgrade to a lower plan.
- Select one of these options or proceed with canceling your account by clicking the
Cancel my account
red button.
Confirming Cancellation
- A popup window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to close your account. Click the
Yes, close it
blue button to confirm.
Final Confirmation
- After completing these steps, you will see a confirmation page and receive a confirmation email. You will no longer be able to log into the account.
Refund Policy
- Note that GetResponse is a pay-as-you-go service and does not issue refunds, even if you cancel immediately after your credit card is charged for the new billing period.
Canceling Free Accounts
- If you have a free account, you need to contact the Customer Success Team directly via Live Chat or email to cancel your account.
