How to Cancel ARM MLM

To cancel payments or memberships in the ARM MLM software, you need to follow these steps, which are tailored for both administrative and user perspectives.

Canceling Multiple Payments as an Administrator

  • Navigate to the Multi-Payment Management icon located along the left blue navigation bar.
  • Select “Manage In Bulk”.
  • Filter the payments by selecting the payment status of “Unpaid” and click “Filter”.
  • Go through the list and check the box next to each payment you need to cancel. Alternatively, you can select all payments by clicking the box at the top near “Site”.
  • Click “Delete Selected Payments” in the top right corner.
  • Confirm that you want to cancel the selected payments. This action will cancel all selected payments, and you can verify that they have been canceled within 10 minutes.

Canceling Membership as a User

  • If you are using the ARMember plugin integrated with ARM MLM, you can cancel your membership from the frontend side.
  • Ensure that the ‘Current Membership Shortcode’ is added to the page. This can be done through the WordPress Admin Panel by navigating to Pages > Add/Edit New Page, and then selecting Membership Shortcodes > Other > Current Membership.
  • Enable the option “Display cancel subscription button?” to ‘Yes’.
  • On the frontend, users will see a cancel subscription button. When they click this button, a confirmation popup will appear.
  • Once the user confirms, the subscription will be canceled. You can set the action to cancel the subscription immediately or after the plan expires at the Manage Plans page.

Additional Considerations

  • Ensure that the cancellation process complies with the latest FTC regulations, which require that canceling a subscription should be as easy as signing up. This includes providing a simple mechanism to cancel and immediately halting charges.
