How to Cancel Axios HQ

To cancel or manage various aspects of your Axios HQ series, follow these steps:

Unsubscribing Recipients

• If a recipient accidentally unsubscribed, you cannot resubscribe them yourself. Instead, you need to reach out to your Axios HQ account manager with a copy of the recipient’s written consent to be resubscribed.

Viewing and Managing Unsubscribed Recipients

• To view unsubscribed recipients, navigate to the “Audience” tab and look under the "Status" column. Here, you can see if recipients are unsubscribed, active, or unreachable.
• You can also export the audience list as a CSV file to view unsubscribed recipients by selecting "Manage recipients" and then "Export CSV".

Removing Failed Email Recipients

• To remove failed email recipients, go to the “Sent” tab, click “View report” for the edition you want to view, and download the full analytics report.
• Filter the “Status” column to identify failed deliveries, delete the rows of the failed recipients, and then save the cleaned list as a CSV in UTF-8 format.
• Upload this new CSV file in the “Audience” tab to update your audience list.

Canceling or Unsending an Edition

• Once an edition is sent, it cannot be unsent or canceled. There is no option to retract or cancel a sent email.

Resending to Unread Recipients

• If you want to turn off the resend option, uncheck the box next to “Resend to unread recipients” in the send modal. Note that this setting is user-level and will reset if you use a different device, browser, or clear your cache.

Customizing Sender Information

• You can customize the sender email address by integrating with a custom domain. Contact your Axios HQ account manager or [email protected] to set this up. You can also edit the sender name on the Settings page.

Preventing Emails from Going into Spam

• To prevent your messages from going into the spam folder, ensure that your sender email address is recognizable and on-brand. Also, check with your IT team to loosen internal spam filters if necessary.
