Compare AppFolio Property Manager and ResMan

AppFolio Property Manager is a cloud-based property management tool designed for residential, student housing, commercial, and community association managers. Key features include accounting tools, online payment options, maintenance tracking, automated leasing, and tenant portals. It integrates well with other systems but lacks extensive customization and reporting. Pricing is subscription-based with "Core" and "Plus" plans, suitable for mid-sized portfolios. Compared to alternatives like Buildium or Yardi Breeze, AppFolio stands out for its intuitive UI but may fall short on personalized customer support and value for smaller businesses. Its effective training resources and responsive customer service offset some limitations, making it cost-effective for mid-market users.

ResMan is a robust property management software for multifamily and affordable housing professionals. It offers features like leasing, marketing, accounting, maintenance management, and compliance tools. Its open integration capabilities and AI chatbot enhance operational efficiency. Compared to alternatives like AppFolio or Buildium, ResMan excels in flexibility and advanced reporting but may lag in onboarding speed.

Pros: User-friendly interface, customization, and strong reporting tools.
Cons: Slower customer support and onboarding issues.

Pricing: Custom quotes based on needs. Customer support generally receives positive feedback, with room for improvement in onboarding experience. ResMan offers cost-effective solutions for property managers seeking comprehensive tools for growth and efficiency.
