Compare Happy Scribe and Otter AI

Happy Scribe is a transcription and subtitling tool offering AI transcriptions (85%+ accuracy) and human-made services (99%+ accuracy) in 45+ languages. It is ideal for content creators, marketers, and e-learning professionals. Known for its user-friendly interface, subtitle exporting, and multilingual support, it converts files quickly with options for personalized vocabulary. Pricing starts at €0.20/minute. Compared to alternatives like Otter.ai and Descript, it excels in transcription accuracy and language coverage but may feel costly for high-volume users or basic needs. Customer support has mixed reviews but is improving. Overall, it balances performance and cost-effectiveness better for professionals valuing quality and features over affordability.

Otter.ai is an AI-powered transcription tool ideal for professionals like marketers, designers, and educators. Key features include automated real-time transcription, speaker identification, and meeting summaries. It integrates with platforms like Zoom and Google Meet and supports live Q&A and action item tracking. Paid plans range from $8.33/month to custom pricing for enterprises.

Compared to Fathom, which offers superior user experience and free plans, Otter excels with extensive integrations but can be less accurate with accents. Alternatives like Rev provide human transcription at a premium. Otter suits teams requiring fast, automated workflows but may need manual edits for complex audio.

Customer support is satisfactory but inconsistent. Otter is cost-effective for its features but suits smaller teams more than enterprises.
