Cradle supports on-premise and cloud deployment, providing excellent scalability and customer support.

How to Cancel Cradle

To cancel your Cradle product, whether it is a software subscription or a purchase of the product lifecycle management platform, you need to follow these steps:

Cancellation of Software Subscription

If you are canceling a software subscription, here are the steps to follow:

  • Notification: Inform Cradle of your decision to cancel your account. You can do this by contacting their support team. There is no specific form required, but you need to clearly state your intention to cancel.

  • Account Status: Once you cancel, your account will be in a closed state for 30 days. During this period, you may be able to contact Cradle to have your account reinstated, though this is a best-effort service and may incur a fee for manual restoration.

  • Data Deletion: After 30 to 60 days, your account will be permanently deleted, and most of your data, including user accounts, call history, integration data, and financial data, will be deleted. You will need to sign up for a new account if you wish to continue using Cradle.

Cancellation of Product Purchase

If you are canceling a purchase of the Cradle product (e.g., Cradle-RM Desktop, Cradle-RM Pro, Cradle-SE Desktop, Cradle-SE Pro), the process is different:

  • Right to Cancel: You have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period starts from the day you acquire, or a third party indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

  • Notification: To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform Cradle Studio GmbH by a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email). You can use the provided model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory. The key is to send your communication before the cancellation period has expired.

  • Return of Goods: You must send back the goods or hand them over without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation. The goods should be returned to:

    acut fulfillment GmbH
    C/O Cradle Studio,
    Motzener Str. 36-3,
    Tor 28, 12277 Berlin, Germany

Cradle will bear the cost of returning the goods.

  • Reimbursement: Cradle will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for supplementary costs arising from choosing a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by Cradle), without undue delay and not later than 14 days after the day on which they are informed about your decision to cancel. The reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. Cradle may withhold reimbursement until they have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods.

Additional Considerations

  • Diminished Value: You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

By following these steps, you can ensure a smooth cancellation process for your Cradle product.
