What’s the biggest benefit you’ve noticed?

Cursor is primary code editor for a few months now, and it has fundamentally shifted how I approach software development. It feels like a supercharged version of the environment . I was already comfortable in, making the switching cost practically zero .

What do you dislike about this product?

It slows me down because, like all llms, the Ai can sometimes suggest functions that do not exist or create circular dependencies that break the build. While its great at the units of work, it can occasionally lose the thread on very complex logic or forget context after a long break .

What could make it even better?

I think they could really benefit from adding more built in tutorials or a feature discovery sidebar. A small whats new interactive walk through inside the editor would help users stay on the frontier of what the tool can actually do.

I recommend this tool to colleagues and friends. This is a very dependable and robust tool for any developer from junior to senior who wants to stop fighting the syntax and start focusing on high level problem solving and architecture .

How has it made your work/life easier?

I have used many AI tools for vibe coding. The Cursor tool is very easy when compare to other tools. Cursor has significantly improved my development workflow. I can code faster using Curser by reducing the time spent on repetitive coding tasks. Features like inline AI suggestions, code generation, and quick refactoring are really helpful.

What slows you down when using it?

Sometimes, Cursor take some time to generate code lines. Also, AI suggestions are sometimes too broad and not perfectly aligned with the requirement

What new feature would you love to see added?

The coding accuracy would improve more. The complex problem solving skills also should improve. Analyzing large code bases are bit slow. It should be improved.

What surprised me most was how useful Cursor was while coding. It helped me move faster and gave helpful suggestions when I got stuck.

What slows you down when using it?

Sometimes it does not fully understand the full code or bigger task. There are also times when I still have to check and fix the result myself.

Is there a workflow that could be simpler?

I think bigger code changes could be easier to handle. It would be better if it understood more context and made changes more smoothly.

How does this compare to similar products you’ve tried?

I really like that I can see the AI's suggestions directly in the code block because it helps my team understand exactly what logic is being modified. It is very helpful for building web application and mobile application.

What feels confusing or hard to use?

It slows me down because indexing very large repositories can feel a bit slow when the codebase is full of nested dependencies. That's the issue i have face many time.

If you could change one thing, what would it be?

If they updated the look of the extensions marketplace and main settings dashboard to be more modern, it would be much better for all type of members.
