How to Cancel Dispatch Science

To cancel an order or an invoice in Dispatch Science, follow these steps:

Cancelling an Order

• Navigate to the Order List section using the left-hand side menu.
• Find the order you want to cancel and open its details.
• If the order is editable, you will see an Edit button. Click on it to edit the order.
• To cancel the order, click on the Cancel button within the order details. If you are prompted with a dialog box, click Confirm to cancel the order or Cancel to return to the order list without cancelling it.

Cancelling an Invoice

• Go to the Accounts section and select Transactions.
• In the Actions column of the invoice you want to cancel, click to open the menu and select Cancel.
• In the dialog box that appears, click Confirm to cancel the invoice or Cancel to return to the transaction list without cancelling it.
• Note that invoices can only be cancelled if no payments or adjustments have been applied to them.

Additional Considerations

• If an order is in a state where it cannot be edited (e.g., it has already been picked up or delivered), it may not be possible to cancel it directly. In such cases, you may need to contact your delivery company or Dispatch Science support for further assistance.
• Ensure that any changes or cancellations are made before any payments or adjustments are applied to avoid complications.
