How to Cancel Infor Distribution SX e

To cancel an order or line item in Infor Distribution SX.e, follow these steps:

Cancelling a Customer Order

• Access the Order: Select the order number and choose the Inquire form action to open the order details.

• Check Order Status: Ensure the order or line item is not on hold and that the shipment has not been released in the Warehouse application. If the shipment has been started but not released, you must first undo any feedback performed and then delete the shipment record.

• Specify Cancellation Details:

  • If you want to track the cancellation reason, select a cancel reason code in the Cancel Reason field.
  • If you want to track the cancellation date, select a date in the Cancel Date field.

• Cancel Order or Line Item:

  • Specify the quantity of each item on the order to cancel in the Canceled field. If you are canceling part of a line, enter the actual amount to cancel; the remaining quantity will stay open.
  • If the order was flagged as creating a purchase order, the corresponding purchase order will also be canceled.

• Confirm Cancellation: Select the Change form action to apply the cancellation changes.

Additional Considerations

• Undo Changes: If you have started processing the order in the Warehouse but have not released the shipment, undo any feedback you performed before deleting the shipment record.
• Order Status: You cannot cancel an order or line that is on hold. Ensure to check the status of the order before attempting to cancel it.
