How to Cancel Knorish

To cancel a live session on the Knorish platform, follow these steps carefully to ensure that all participants are notified and the session is properly canceled.

Notifying the Learners

Before canceling the session, it is crucial to notify the learners about the cancellation. Here’s how you can do it:

• Go to your Dashboard > Courses.
• Open the Course > Curriculum > Live Session.
• Click on Edit Session in the settings section.
• Scroll down to the Create Email Reminders section.
• Customize the email by selecting the tool icon under Actions. Create a Cancellation Email with the necessary details.
  • Type in the email subject and write a message in the email body.
  • Set the delivery time and send a test mail to a specific email ID for quality check.
  • Turn on/off the Calendar Invite and click ‘Save’.

Ensure that this cancellation email is sent out first to inform all participants of the change.

Canceling the Live Session

After sending the cancellation email, proceed to cancel the session:

• Go to your Dashboard > Courses.
• Open the Course > Curriculum > Live Session.
• Select the active live session you want to cancel.
• Click on Delete {Live Session} Chapter to delete the session. If the session is part of a section, you need to delete all chapters in the section first before deleting the section.
• Click Delete Section to confirm the deletion.

Important Notes

• Any cancellation email already set up will be deleted and will not be sent if the session is canceled first. Therefore, always send the cancellation email before deleting the session.
• Deleting the live session in Knorish will automatically cancel the associated live Zoom session.

By following these steps, you ensure that all learners are informed of the cancellation and the session is properly removed from the platform.
