How to Cancel OrangeHRM

To cancel or terminate various aspects within the OrangeHRM system, you need to follow these steps:

User Accounts

  • To delete a system user, navigate to Admin >> User Management.
  • Check the box next to the username of the user you want to delete.
  • Click the Delete button. You can delete multiple entries at once by selecting multiple checkboxes and then clicking Delete.

User Roles

  • To delete a User Role, go to Admin >> User Role.
  • Check the box next to the User Role you want to delete.
  • Click the Delete button. Multiple roles can be deleted simultaneously.

Employment Statuses

  • To delete an Employment Status, navigate to Admin >> Employment Statuses.
  • Check the box next to the Employment Status ID you want to delete.
  • Click the Delete button. Multiple statuses can be deleted at once.

Licenses

  • To delete a License, go to Admin >> Licenses (under the PIM module).
  • Check the box next to the License ID you want to delete.
  • Click the Delete button. Multiple licenses can be deleted simultaneously.

Membership Types and Memberships

  • To delete a Membership Type, navigate to Admin >> Membership Types.
    • Check the box next to the Membership Type ID you want to delete.
    • Click the Delete button. Multiple types can be deleted at once.
  • To delete a Membership, go to Admin >> Memberships.
    • Check the box next to the Membership entry you want to delete.
    • Click the Delete button. Multiple memberships can be deleted simultaneously.

Locations

  • To delete a location, navigate to Admin >> Locations.
  • Check the box next to the Location ID you want to delete.
  • Click the Delete button. Multiple locations can be deleted at once.

Password Reset and Authentication

  • If a user needs to reset their password, they can use the Forgot your password? link on the login page.
    • Enter the OrangeHRM username or work email to initiate the password reset process.
    • Follow the instructions in the email sent to the user’s work email to complete the password reset.

General Steps for Deletion

  • For most deletion operations, the process involves:
    • Navigating to the relevant section (e.g., Users, User Roles, Employment Statuses, etc.).
    • Selecting the entries to be deleted by checking the corresponding boxes.
    • Clicking the Delete button to remove the selected entries.
