To cancel a transaction or perform related actions in the PawnMaster system, follow these steps:

Canceling a Sale

If you need to cancel a sale, you can do so by entering a specific code and taking the following actions:

• Enter an "X" in the 4473 field.
• Click to confirm the cancellation.

Voiding a Sale

For more detailed transactions, you might need to void a sale. Here’s how you can do it:

• Navigate to the sale transaction you want to void.
• Use the ‘Void Sale’ option available in the transaction menu.
• Confirm the void action to complete the process.

Canceling Other Transactions

For other types of transactions, such as layaways or loans, you need to follow specific steps:

Layaway

• To undo a layaway payment, go to the layaway transaction.
• Select the ‘Undo Layaway Payment’ option.
• Confirm the action to revert the payment.

Loans

• To cancel or adjust a loan, go to the loan transaction.
• Use the ‘Maintain a Pawn’ option to edit or cancel the loan.
• Make the necessary changes and confirm to save.

Practice System

If you are using the Practice System to train new employees, note that while most functions are available, you cannot perform certain actions like police uploads, send text messages, make a backup, or report to KeyDX.
