How to Cancel Payslip

To cancel a payroll subscription, the steps can vary depending on the specific service you are using. Here are the instructions for canceling payroll subscriptions on some popular platforms:

Canceling Square Payroll Subscription

• If you have never sent a payroll run, your Square Payroll subscription is inactive, and you will not see it in the Pricing & Subscriptions tab. You can rest assured that you are not being billed.
• If you have sent a payroll run, your subscription is active. To cancel, go to Settings > Business > Pricing & Subscriptions and select the option to cancel your Payroll subscription.

Canceling QuickBooks Payroll Subscription

• Before canceling, complete and process your final payroll, print necessary payroll reports, pay any outstanding tax deposits, and process and file any outstanding annual or quarterly forms.
• Go to Settings ⚙ and select Account and Settings.
• Choose Billing & Subscription.
• In the Payroll section, select Cancel.
• Fill out the online cancellation form to complete the process.

Canceling Patriot Software Payroll

• Go to Settings > Company Settings > Add or Cancel Software.
• Your selected products are shown with a purple box and checkmark. Click the purple box to cancel the active product.
• Select the reason for canceling and answer any corresponding questions.
• For Full-Service Payroll, click Continue to begin the cancellation process, select an end date, and specify whether Patriot will complete all filings until the end of the actual cancel date, month, quarter, or year.
• Review your tax responsibility and Patriot’s responsibility, and click Cancel Software to finish the process.
