Important Note: Pendo’s documentation differentiates between “Subscription Settings” and account deletion. While “Subscription Settings” allows managing features within your active subscription, cancelling the subscription itself involves deleting your Pendo account.

Here’s how to proceed:

Account Deletion (Cancellation):

  1. Access Settings: Log in to your Pendo account. Navigate to the “Settings” section, typically found at the bottom of the left-side menu.
  2. Locate Plan Details: Within the “Settings” section, look for the “Plan” option. This might be under a tab labeled “Subscription” or similar.
  3. Initiate Deletion: You will likely find a “Delete Account” option within the “Plan” details. Click on this button.
  4. Confirmation: A confirmation pop-up will appear, requesting verification of your intent to delete the account.
  5. Finalize Cancellation: Click on the “Delete Account” button within the confirmation pop-up.

Important Considerations:

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancelling before your next billing cycle ensures no further charges are incurred.
  • Data Deletion: Pendo permanently removes all your information upon account deletion. This includes uploaded files and any data associated with your Pendo usage.
  • Data Export: It’s recommended to download any necessary files or capture crucial information before proceeding with deletion. Pendo doesn’t offer data recovery after account deletion.
