How to Cancel SilkStart

To cancel a membership or subscription on SilkStart, follow these steps:

For Members

• Log in to your SilkStart account.
• Click on your name in the top right corner and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
• In the page that appears, select the Membership tab.
• Click on Cancel Subscription. This will end your subscription at the next renewal date.

For Administrators

If you are an administrator and need to cancel a membership on behalf of a member, follow these steps:

• Log into your SilkStart admin panel.
• Navigate to Manage > People, and search for the member’s name. Open their profile.
• Click on the Membership Info tab.
• Click on Cancel Membership. You will be prompted to confirm this choice.
• To undo a membership cancellation, click on Remove Cancellation.

What Happens After Cancellation

When a membership is canceled:

• If the member was an active member, their membership expiry date is changed to the date that the cancellation took place.
• The user’s status is changed from ‘Active’ to ‘Cancelled’.
• The user will no longer be able to access parts of the site that are restricted to members only.
• The user will not receive invoices or reminder emails from SilkStart.
