How to Cancel Summitry

To cancel a service or product from Summit Internet or related entities, you need to follow the specific guidelines for each type of cancellation.

Canceling a Summit Internet Service

To cancel your service with Summit Internet, follow these steps:

  • Login to the Summit Billing Portal. If you require a login, contact the accounts team on 1300 049 749.
  • From the main menu, select Service –> My Services.
  • You will see all the services you have with Summit. Select the products/services you wish to cancel.
  • Click the Request Cancellation button (the big red button).
  • Enter the reason why you no longer require the service and choose whether you want the service cancelled Immediately or at the End of the Billing period. Then, hit Request Cancellation.
    • If you choose Cancel Immediately, the service will be switched off straight away.
    • If you choose End of Billing Period, the service will be cancelled at the end of the period on your latest invoice.
  • Once done, you should see a note on the product indicating an outstanding cancellation request.

Important Notes:

  • Summit requires 30 days’ notice of service cancellation.
  • If you are still under contract, early termination fees will apply. Call Summit Internet to check if your service is still under a contract.
  • Any invoices already issued will not be credited back, but cancelling the service will stop any further invoices.
  • If you are cancelling numbers due to porting away from Summit Internet, wait until the numbers have ported away before submitting your cancellation.
  • If you are cancelling an internet service, wait until your new internet service is fully provisioned before submitting your cancellation request.

Canceling an Order from Summit Racing

To cancel an order from Summit Racing, follow these steps:

  • Go to the Orders section.
  • If you’re not logged in, you will be prompted to do so.
  • Use the Order Status Lookup to find your order if you checked out as a guest or over the phone.
  • Click on Cancel Order next to the order you want to cancel.
    • If the cancel option is not available, your order has been processed for shipment and cannot be canceled.
  • Follow the prompts and directions to complete the cancellation process.

Notes:

  • You can only cancel the entire order online. For partial cancellations, contact Summit Racing.
  • Once processed, you will receive an email to confirm your cancellation.
  • If payment for your order has not been processed, it will be canceled and no charge will be made against your account. If the payment was processed, you will receive a refund for the canceled items.

Returning Products from Summit Racing

To return products from Summit Racing, follow these steps:

  • Return any new or unused part within 90 days to receive a refund of the purchase price.
  • Ensure the item is in its original packaging and in resalable condition.
  • Over-box the item with the original packaging to prevent damage.
  • Obtain a tracking number for your shipment and consider insuring it.
  • Ship the item to the specified address, ensuring it includes all original materials and accessories.

Restrictions:

  • Items showing evidence of use, installation, or improper handling cannot be returned.
  • Custom-ordered or personalized products, hazardous materials, and certain copyrighted materials are not returnable.
  • Wheels and tires that have been mounted are also not returnable.
