How to Cancel Wonderschool
To cancel an enrollment on Wonderschool, follow these steps and guidelines:
Cancellation by Parents
- If a parent needs to cancel a confirmed enrollment, they must do so through their account settings or by contacting the applicable teacher or childcare center before the end of the recurring term. Enrollments cannot be terminated before the end of the period for which the parent has already paid.
- Parents should review the cancellation policy specified in the listing, as this policy will dictate whether they are eligible for any refunds of deposits or other fees paid. Note that the Enrollment Fee is not refundable.
Refund Process
- If a parent cancels a confirmed enrollment, Wonderschool will refund the total fees, including any Enrollment Fee or Deposit, to the parent, subject to the applicable cancellation policy. However, if the cancellation is due to a parent’s violation of the terms or rules, the teacher/childcare center may retain the Enrollment Fees and deposits.
Cancellation by Teachers/Childcare Centers
- If a teacher or childcare center cancels a confirmed enrollment, Wonderschool will refund the total fees to the parent. The teacher/childcare center may face penalties, such as an automated review indicating the cancellation, blocked availability for the cancelled dates, a cancellation fee, or termination of their account.
Notification and Communication
- If a teacher/childcare center cancels an enrollment, Wonderschool may inform the parent of alternative listings and related information. Parents should contact Wonderschool at the specified email if they have not received a notification about the cancellation.
Additional Considerations
- If a teacher/childcare center has already been paid for the enrollment and Wonderschool issues a refund to the parent, Wonderschool will recover the amount of the refund from the teacher/childcare center, potentially by subtracting it from future disbursements.
Changing Tuition Fees
- If tuition fees change, parents will be notified and given the opportunity to terminate the enrollment before the new fees are applied. Continued enrollment after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new fees.
