What exceeded your expectations?

I couldn't believe how it handled thick accents and background noise without tripping up. Usually, free tools are a bit of a mess, but this feels more accurate than most paid services I’ve tried.

What do you dislike about this product?

The main downside is that it’s a total battery hog and can turn my phone into a hand warmer while it's processing. Since it does everything locally, it really puts the device's processor through a workout.

If you could change one thing, what would it be?

I’d add a "lightweight" mode that uses a smaller model for quicker, rougher drafts. Sometimes I don't need perfect accuracy; I just need a fast summary so I can find a specific quote.

What feature do you use most often?

I mostly use the on-device transcription to turn my long audio recordings into text without worrying about my data being sent to some random server. It’s also super handy for making subtitles for my videos since I can just export them in the right format instantly.

Have you experienced any bugs or errors?

The biggest issue is that the app sometimes crashes or loses the progress if I accidentally close it or get a phone call while it’s still transcribing. I’ve also noticed it can get stuck repeating the same sentence over and over if there’s a lot of background noise in the audio.

What problem did this product solve for you?

It solved the huge headache of having to manually type out hours of interviews and research notes for my school work. Since it runs locally on my device, I can even use it when I don't have an internet connection, which is a lifesaver when I'm out in the field.

What’s the biggest benefit you’ve noticed?

Processing all transcriptions locally keeps my sensitive meeting recordings completely private. My professional team loves getting highly accurate text from our long interviews without relying on cloud services

What do you dislike about this product?

The lack of built-in text editing tools requires extra technical time to polish our final documents. I occasionally find processing very large audio files a little demanding on my older Apple devices

How could the product save you more time or money?

Adding a simple built-in text editor would help our busy professionals clean up the final transcripts much faster. I want a cheaper pricing option for the advanced batch transcription and direct YouTube integration features
