I can't register through the Android app. I tried different ways to log in through my Android smartphone, but unfortunately it didn't work.

The platform itself is attractive. I'd also like to point out that it's user-friendly. However, the account authorization issues on Android could be resolved.

What exceeded your expectations?

Dropbox just dropped a bomb on "space saving". It's a 10 out of 10 for me. We can sync across devices, update across desktop, phone, and web. It's like I've been given access anywhere.

What’s been frustrating in your experience?

While I'm using it, compared to its main competitor, it has a limited storage for free plan. Also, paid plans can be more expensive compared to other cloud storage services.

What could make it even better?

Honestly, I know that Dropbox could be more better by adding "smart search", content summaries, and automatic file organization. This is to help us users manage our files faster.

I will drop a 9 since Dropbox is reliable, easy to use, and makes file syncing very convenient. The strong collaboration features make it very efficient for teams and remote works.

What exceeded your expectations?

I’ve been using Dropbox with multiple clients, and what I like most is how seamlessly it syncs to my device. The fast upload and download speeds, along with the integrated file preview, really exceeded my expectations and make collaboration much smoother.

What slows you down when using it?

On the Dropbox website, the UI feels slower compared to the desktop app. Because of this, I often prefer using the desktop version for a smoother and more efficient experience.

What’s still missing for your needs?

Dropbox has strong potential to enhance the overall user experience by streamlining functionality. For example, adding simple shortcuts like copy‑paste within the platform would save time and reduce manual effort, making everyday file management much more efficient.

I would recommend Dropbox to colleagues and friends since it’s reliable for syncing, fast uploads and downloads, and useful previews. The UI flakiness on the website compared to the desktop app should be addressed to make the experience consistently smooth.

Dropbox's "Smart Sync" is a total lifesaver for our hard drive, letting us see and manage all our files locally without them actually taking up any physical space.

What’s been frustrating in your experience?

Dropbox's biggest headache is "feature maxing," where they keep pushing extra apps like Paper and Sign instead of just perfecting the core sync experience we actually pay for.

What’s still missing for your needs?

I see a huge opportunity in its new local MCP server support, which could let coding tools like Claude pull context directly from our cloud docs.
