The learning curve can be a bit steep at the start, especially if you’re not familiar with research-heavy platforms. Some workflows also feel a bit complex when setting up studies for the first time.
What’s still missing for your needs?
A more simplified onboarding experience would help new users get value faster without feeling overwhelmed. I’d also like more automation in analyzing results so insights come through quicker.

I’d recommend it to UX researchers and product teams who need deep user insights and don’t mind a bit of complexity. For smaller teams or casual use, it might be more than what they need.

What exceeded your expectations?
The inventory tracking is surprisingly detailed. I didn't expect it to handle things like gemstone weights and metal types so specifically right out of the box. It’s clearly built by people who actually understand how a jewelry shop runs day-to-day.
What’s been frustrating in your experience?
The interface feels pretty old-fashioned. It’s a bit clunky to navigate, and finding certain settings. It’s nice, but definitely not the most modern-looking software I’ve used.
What’s still missing for your needs?
I’d love a better mobile app or a more tablet-friendly version. Sometimes I want to check stock or show a customer something while I'm walking around the shop floor, but the current setup feels like it’s strictly meant for a desktop at the counter.

Ethos Jewellery Software has been a total game changer for me; it basically killed all those annoying custom coding jobs for stock and accounting. Now my clients just use this cheap system that works on any device.
Have you experienced any bugs or errors?
Ethos Jewellery software had some issues during big stock updates, but their support team fixed everything fast. No downtime at all, and personally, it has been rock solid for using many devices and those annoying barcodes.
How could the product save you more time or money?
Ethos could save me even more time and money by fully automating reordering and reporting. This would let me spend zero hours on their custom fixes each month, and its affordable pricing plus fast barcode stock takes would cut operational costs way down.

It’s cheap and works great for barcode stock control on multiple devices. Plus, the support team is actually helpful. Long-term users say it saves so much time on reordering and reports. If you're a small retailer tired of using spreadsheets, this is the way.
