What exceeded your expectations?
Post hog is a open source and I used it for my testing purposes. It has session replay which is very useful to watch recordings of user sessions to see where they get stuck and help in debugging.
What’s been frustrating in your experience?
Sometimes I feel you need more technical knowledge to understand it fully.
What’s still missing for your needs?
It's good to use understand the application or website behavior.
Final thoughts, wrap up what you think

What do you like best about this product?
I like how it’s basically an all-in-one product analytics stack instead of having to rely on multiple tools. The session replays and event tracking together make it really easy to understand user behavior in detail.
Have you experienced any bugs or errors?
I haven’t run into major bugs, but sometimes the UI can feel a bit heavy or slow when working with large datasets. It can also feel a bit overwhelming when too many features are active at once.
If you could change one thing, what would it be?
I’d improve the overall UI simplicity because it can feel cluttered for new users. A more guided onboarding experience would also help people understand the full value faster.
Final thoughts, wrap up what you think
I’d recommend it strongly to developers, product managers, and startups that want deep product insights. It’s not the simplest tool, but it’s one of the most powerful if you invest time in learning it.

What do you like best about this product?
I love how it puts everything in one place. Instead of jumping between different tools, I can see my heatmaps, session recordings, and feature flags all on one dashboard. Also, the UI is so cool.
Have you experienced any bugs or errors?
I’ve had some lag when loading really long session recordings. A few times the video player just froze or took forever to buffer.
If you could change one thing, what would it be?
The initial setup for custom events can be a bit overwhelming. I’d make the tagging process more easy for non-developers, so you don't feel like you need to be a coding expert just to track a new button click.
Final thoughts, wrap up what you think
It’s the best all-in-one tool for understanding your users. If you’re tired of paying for three different analytics services, this replaces all of them and actually makes the data easy to act on
