How to Cancel SKULabs

To fully cancel an order in SKULabs, follow these steps:

For Unshipped Orders

If the order has not been shipped or scanned out, you need to cancel or refund the order through your sales channel. Here’s how to proceed:

  • Cancel or refund the order directly on your sales channel (e.g., Shopify, Amazon).
  • SKULabs will import this cancellation or order revision within minutes.
  • If you have enabled stock sync, opt not to restore inventory if your sales channel gives you this option.

For Shipped Orders

If the order has already been shipped or scanned out, you will need to process the refund and handle the return:

  • Process the refund on your sales channel.
  • Create a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) in SKULabs to manage the returned inventory.
    • Open the order and scroll to the Returns panel, then click "Create return label."
    • Choose the dimensions, weight, and package type initially used to ship the order.
    • Select the quantity of items expected to return and decide whether to create an RMA along with the label.

Completing the Cancellation

After processing the refund and creating the RMA (if applicable):

  • Ensure the order is marked as cancelled in both your sales channel and SKULabs.
  • If inventory was shipped, wait for the return and update the RMA status to "Received" in SKULabs once the items are returned.
    • Scan the RMA form, select the warehouse to return stock to, and set the "returned" quantity to what was actually received.
    • Add any notes or reasons for the return if necessary.

By following these steps, you can ensure a full cancellation of the order and proper handling of any returned inventory in SKULabs.
