A very convenient program for creating AI agents. Easy to use and easy to build logic chains.

I didn't like that the program sometimes couldn't contact the account or API programs. For example, I had problems with the OpenWeatherMap program.

As I wrote earlier, it's a very convenient platform for creating AI agents. The interface could use some thought, though. It's not very attractive.

What do you like best about this product?

It turns your automation ideas into visual logic where you can map out every branch, loop, and AI decision point on a single canvas.

Have you experienced any bugs or errors?

The biggest cons are the steep learning curve for self-hosting and a recent wave of critical security vulnerabilities that require constant, manual patching to keep your server safe.

If you could change one thing, what would it be?

Currently, setting up a new service (like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365) still requires a "back-and-forth", copying Client IDs, and configuring redirect URLs. For a platform that is so advanced with AI and logic, this part of the process feels stuck in 2018.

n8n removes the limits seen in other tools; you aren't penalized for having a 100-step workflow, and the ability to self-host gives you a level of data privacy and cost control over Zapier or Make.

How has it made your work/life easier?

N8N is unique because it is flexible, has a visual workflow style, and the control that it provides over automations. It has also simplified work by enabling it to automate repetitive processes and yet retain greater customization compared to most no code tools.

What feels confusing or hard to use?

The interface can feel technical and overwhelming for beginners. Debugging complex workflows can also be confusing at times.

If you could change one thing, what would it be?

N8N has additional opportunities to develop with enhanced inbuilt templates and easier onboarding to non technical users. To ease the automation management, I would enhance workflow debugging and monitoring.

I would give it high rating since N8N is very flexible and powerful in the construction of custom automations. I would suggest it to fellow workers and friends that would like the ability to have more control over their workflows.

What’s the biggest benefit you’ve noticed?

I usually use n8n in my developments. It makes easier to automate workflows between different services without too much coding. It has a visual workflow builder and it helps to connect APIs and automate tasks.

What feels confusing or hard to use?

Some advanced workflows become complex and hard to debug. Self hosting and configurations are little bit complex.

Is there a workflow that could be simpler?

n8n can improve with more workflow templates. Should have more tools to debug. Setup steps should more simpler.
