What feature do you use most often?

As a developer, I mainly use Figma to start with wireframing and overall envisioning the outcome of the project. This helps me with the design and making sure the quality of UI/UX before coding.

What’s been frustrating in your experience?

When I first started with Figma, I was quite overwhelmed with the many features and overall experience of the app. I didn't know where to start and what to do. However, as time went by, I learned from different guides and friends how to use the platform streamlining my process of design during the developmental stage of my projects.

What’s still missing for your needs?

I would say better AI outputs. As someone who is more focused on back-end, I would like to have better output, so that I play my focus on the back-end of my projects rather than the front-end aspect.

Figma is a platform that is still well-loved by many software developers. It provides us a place to envision the UI/UX of our projects through wireframing and design. This assures us that we create projects with high quality.

What’s the biggest benefit you’ve noticed?

The biggest benefit is real-time collaboration. Being able to work with a team on the same design simultaneously makes the workflow much faster and more efficient.

What feature doesn’t work as expected?

Sometimes performance can slow down, especially with large files or complex designs. There are also occasional issues with components not updating consistently across pages.

If you could change one thing, what would it be?

I’d improve performance for larger projects and make component management more reliable. Better organization tools for big design systems would also be a big help.

How it's able to create a website faster and cheaper than a developer. Times have changed where we can now use AI to build websites.

Have you experienced any bugs or errors?

No, but if I make the AI do too much it may slow down. Some of the design wasn't perfect.

What problem did this product solve for you?

This solved website development. Instead of myself making the website, I can have AI to create it for me.

Some advanced features can feel difficult to learn when you’re just starting out with design. Bigger projects can also become a little laggy, especially when too many files or plugins are being used at once.

What could make it even better?

Figma could make certain advanced tools easier for beginners to understand through simpler tutorials and onboarding. Better performance for heavy design files and improved offline support would also make the experience smoother.
