What exceeded your expectations?

Netlify makes it easy to deploy and host webpages through the use of GitHub repositories. Their simple UI/UX also makes it easy to navigate through their dashboard, allowing for effortless management.

What do you dislike about this product?

Projects deployed in Netlify is mostly for static web pages like a portfolio website. It's not really ideal for web app that puts its functionalities' focus on back-end.

What new feature would you love to see added?

I would love to see an option for traditional server along with native databases. This way users are given that choice and Netlify will transition to allowing full-stack web applications, rather than focus on just static web apps.

Netlify overall simplifies the web app deployment and hosting. However, it's mostly restricted to front-end focused application rather than back-end.

What do you like best about this product?

Netlify offers a wide variety of products for engineers and businesses. Their free of charge service is robust.

Is there something that almost made you stop using it?

The speed of deployment was an initial concern. However, the case studies on the site gave me confidence that the product was what we were looking for.

What could make it even better?

Enable an integrated solution combining AI with a human touch for service agents. Offer small use case solutions for hobbies.

Netlify is a good service, with AI capabilities. The product leans toward engineers but can do more with offering services for hobbits.

How does this compare to similar products you’ve tried?

It feels much simpler and faster compared to other hosting tools I’ve used. The setup is smooth and I can deploy projects without dealing with too many steps.

What feature doesn’t work as expected?

Sometimes builds fail without a very clear reason, which can be frustrating. Logs help, but they can still be a bit confusing to fully understand.

Is there a workflow that could be simpler?

Managing environment variables could be more straightforward. Also, switching between sites and settings could be a bit more organized.

It makes deploying and managing sites really easy and quick. Overall, it saves time and keeps things simple once you get used to it.
