it is a best tool for creating simple designs and editing images and design online in a browsers, instead of installing heavy and large softwares like adobe photoshop, it works perfectly for me in designing simple and small design in browser, no need install anything in local machine, also it has option for saving your data in google drive, which is alot usefull for saving data

expensify makes expense reporting really painless. i appreciate how it connects to sql databases, so i can combine all our business data in one place. the drag and drop dashboard builder is fairly straightforward, and it can handle large, complex data sets. it handles complex data from multiple sources and has robust visualization tools, which matches what I see: it is very adaptable for financial reports and metrics.

the main pain point is the data modeling elasticube , it is heavy and can be cumbersome. setting up relationships and loading big data can slow down, and if you are not careful the UI of the modeler can be confusing. you definitely need some training to use it. the desktop app uses a lot of memory, so on older machines it can lag.

it is very good and easy with cloudinary for automatic image optimization and transformations, i can upload an image and instantly resize or reformat it via url parameters. images load fast on websites, also the documentation is excellent, so setup and integration into apps was easy

the ui interface can be confusing and not very intuitive. It took me a while to find where to do bulk actions or rename files, since the ui is a bit dated and cluttered. also,the free tier costs rise quickly if you use a lot of storage or transformations, sometimes the management console feels crowded when I had many of assets.

What do you like best about this product?

It felt very intuitive, looks like PowerPoint for video. I could paste in a blog post or script and it would automatically generate scene suggestions with video clips and images. for simple marketing videos or tutorials, that quick suggestion and samples was super handy.

What do you dislike about this product?

the main issue for me was audio. it expects you to either record a voiceover live or upload audio, and the controls were confusing. for me sometimes the voiceover didn’t sync right, so i had to export and re-sync in another tool. also the free plan has a watermark and limited video length, so you quickly bump into restrictions.

What could make it even better?

adding more flexibility in audio like letting me easily replace or move voice tracks would fix a lot. supports for offline editing or faster rendering would be great. Best api testing tool so far i have used, ease of use, now ai integrated as well, for generating test scripts and much more, their vscode extension is also available, i use both for testing apis, inside from vscode easily and if want full features then from app .

so far the dislike about this is it popups a security alert whenever i opened it in my windows, that's only cons that i got for this. the desktop app quite heavy and takes somehow many resources. because of native app, we can't use multiple apps, if we have two different accounts with different data in it.

Make it better ai integrated for generating apis docs, scripts for testing and a mini browser inside for directly testing, they can provide multiple apps or clone apps for using multiple projects in on device, bcz we can;t use it from browser at the end we needs desktop app for testing

How has it made your work/life easier?

I used notion for my task management , of keeping my career goals, it has nice and some awesome features for task management, have portfolio like features as well for showing you portfolio through public url accessible by anyone, works well on website version as well.

What do you dislike about this product?

It is not available in linux, there is no official native desktop app for linux distros so make me solely rely on web version which results in proper internect connection for working, no offline support, in native version it has offline support for limited features only , it definitely got a lot of features but learning these all features takes time

What could make it even better?

By making it available for all platforms and make sure it runs smoothly, making offline mode more for frequently using features, the learning curve blocks most of users from using it, providing tutorial for understanding notion and its features will help beginners a lot

What exceeded your expectations?

Love this software, used for every of my project that i have worked on, so far, and in future too, its light weight and fast ide, pretty much every need extensions are available for use. it has built in git integration and can also be improved with better extensions

Is there something that almost made you stop using it?

The terminal sometimes makes issues, it doesn't appear or not responding needs vscode restart, using extensions makes it it heavy and slow downs performance, in debian kubuntu it was taking too much ram and it was repeatedly kill by kernel for using over resources again and again after running server or a project

What could make it even better?

Make the software more user friendly by enhancing ui more and offer some better native themes, improve performance issue in debian based linux distros, instead of extensions for every thing should have built in and optimized features for easy use

How does this compare to similar products you’ve tried?

Its great tool for UI/Ux, it large design screens and sharing fuctionality is the most i liked about it, developers can easily inspect ui elements and copy their properties directly to their code, it has real time collaboration feature which is awesome for a designing tools cause it needs collaboration for working

What feature doesn’t work as expected?

The comment bar seems annoying to me, it should be correctly place on section or components, designs are not translated to code directly, large design files becomes slow and difficult to design, code export options is limited only css can be exported and for each different design screen you have to export separately.

How could the product save you more time or money?

It has free tier so i can designs and review other designers designs easily without paying, improve desing to code export feature, which helps developers a lot instead of making screens pixel perfect just export the styling and use it directly,

It is widely used among designers, but as developer perspective i don't use that more of the time, if you are frontend developer than you will definitely use it, and its great tool for designing but some times making pixel perfect designs become cumbersome

It has a lot of communities. They hold events, weekly hookup calls or meeting discuss issues and much more, it has voice video and text communication, easy for communities collaborations and work, screen sharing video calling is excelent in discord, can integrate bots for tasks automation and moderations

What feature doesn’t work as expected?

The communities are huge, but most of them have no proper activities. Many communities are not active most of the time, the interfacing can be confusing for new users for large servers specially understanding serves channels and stuff like that is tricky

What’s still missing for your needs?

The discord offer a community based learning and growing, most of genz dont know about discord at all, improve user interface for simplicity , search functionalities can be improved for large server and finding messages and files
