How to Cancel Workato Subscription

Contemplating discontinuing your Workato subscription? Whether your automation needs have changed or you’re seeking alternative solutions, this guide facilitates a clear and efficient cancellation process. Here’s a breakdown of the steps involved in cancelling your Workato subscription:

Downgrading to the Free Plan:

  1. Access Account Settings: Log in to your Workato account and navigate to the “Customer” section. Select the “Settings” tab.
  2. Locate Subscription: Within the “Settings” section, find the “Subscription” option.
  3. Switch to Free Plan: Change your subscription plan to the “Free” plan. This becomes your default plan after the trial period ends and effectively cancels your paid subscription.

Additional Considerations for Embedded Partners:

  • Extending Trial: If you’re an Embedded partner, you can re-enable the trial period for your customer and then change their plan. Once they subscribe, disable the “Trial” option to transition them to an active paid subscription.

Account Termination and Data Deletion:

  • Contact Workato: If you intend to completely terminate your Workato account and delete your associated data, you’ll need to contact Workato directly. They will process your request to delete your account and data within 30 days of termination or agreement expiration.

Refunds:

  • Unused Pre-Paid Fees: Workato will issue a refund for any unused, pre-paid fees following the effective date of your termination.

Important Notes:

  • Review Terms of Service: While the above steps guide the cancellation process, it’s crucial to review your specific Workato contract terms for any potential cancellation fees or early termination clauses.
  • Outstanding Balances: Ensure you have settled any outstanding balances before requesting cancellation to avoid complications.

By following these steps and considering the additional points, you can effectively cancel your Workato subscription or terminate your account, ensuring a smooth and clear process.
